The Labyrinth


 The labyrinth, which laid at Mesastila, is the symbol of the “guest’s journey” to the wellness experience. At the labyrinth area there is also a set of gong (consist of two different gong’s beaters). When the guest arrived, the front office staff led them to Club House for registration. At the Club House, the guest will be served with the refreshments (cold towel and tamarind juice) by the guest relation staff. The guest relation staff will offer the guest to have the refreshments first....

or later on after they do the labyrinth. If the guest wants to do the labyrinth, the guest relation may ask their passport for scanning process before they are going to the labyrinth. The guest must take off their shoes and walk in a bare foot. The guest relation staff will look after their stuffs during the guest doing the labyrinth 



When the guest came to the labyrinth, the guest relation staff will provide some information to the guest. They will tell the guest how to do the labyrinth experience properly.
First, the guest will let to hit the gong (actually it’s based on their feeling recently). They can use the big gong’s beater or the small ones. They can also hit the gong as many times as they want to. The place for hitting the gong is little bit higher than the labyrinth. 

It means that the guest may see some of the landscape around Mesastila (coffee plantation, bamboo area, some of the mountains, and etc.) After they hit the gong, the guest relation staff explained other information, such as the type of the stones to make the labyrinth, the meanings of certain stone (the big black stone),
the philosophy of the labyrinth experience, and the way to do the labyrinth experience.
After the guest relation staff provides the brief information to the guest, they will let the guest to start walking in the labyrinth. While the guest walking, the guest relation staff back to the office to do the registration process. When the guest finished with the labyrinth experience they will be served with the refreshments and reconfirm about their stay. When the whole process finished, the guest will be escorted to the room. Although the labyrinth experience is “a must program”, we can be very flexible depend on the guest condition. If the guest arrived in a very tired condition they can do it in the next day.
